CeCIL Annual Lecture on with the founders of GLAN: ‘A global human rights litigation agenda: Climate, war, migration, supply chains’

At this year’s CeCIL annual lecture at the University of Kent, the co-founders of the Global Legal Action Network will discuss their experience with international human rights legal action. Dr Gearóid O Cuinn, Director of GLAN, and Dr Ioannis Kalpouzos, GLAN Co-founder and Visiting Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Law, will discuss their experiences on the 23rd of June 2021.

GLAN’s agenda aims to address structural global inequality and injustice, and the network has for example supported the litigants in the Duarte Agostinho case pending before the European Court of Human Rights. In this lecture, the co-founders will discuss GLAN’s work on global climate justice; open-source intelligence and aerial bombardment; the exploitation of conflict-affected territories by corporations; the violence against migrants in Europe and Australia and accountability and supply chains.
